Luno is a private, co-educational university located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Previously established as Loyola College in 1904, the institute was later chartered as a university in 1912. It is named after the patron saint of the Jesuits, St. Ignatius Loyola. Loyola is one of the member agencies comprising the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, and with its current enrollment of about 5000 students, is one of the great Jesuit university in the southern United States.
