In computing, office suite, sometimes called the office suite or productivity Suite is a set of programs for knowledge workers. Components are usually distributed together, have a single user interface, and can usually interact with each other, sometimes in such a way that the operating system normally does not allow.

Currently, the dominant office suites are Microsoft Office, which is available for Microsoft Windows and on Apple Inc with Mac OS X, and OpenOffice.org, a free and open source software alternative sources for many operating systems. Microsoft Office's binary file formats were by default, de facto, but supplanted by the open standard ODF, OpenOffice.org 'S (among other programs) native format. ODF is the standard choice for government, education, and among companies seeking a neutral document formats for the exchange of information or seeking to save money.
