Opportunities can be realized in several ways. The most popular is by opening a new organization (eg, starting a new business). Another approach is to promote innovation and introduction of new products or services or markets in the existing firms. This approach is called corporate entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship, and was made popular author of Gifford Pinchot in his book with the same name. The latter approach involves the creation of charitable organizations (or parts of the existing charitable organizations) that are designed for self-supporting in addition to its good work. This is usually referred to as social entrepreneurship or social venturing.
