Online Diploma in Medical Assistant
Medical personnel can be certified or registered medical personnel who perform administrative and clinical tasks that keep the offices of licensed practitioners smoothly. They should not be confused with physician assistants. The term "Medical Assistant" may have legal status in some countries, while in others they may be loosely defined groups. Historically, nurses in the United States have been trained-on-job medical support staff, without a specific identity group. The American Medical Association (AAMA) was founded in 1956.
Assistants have traditionally held the work almost exclusively in ambulatory care centers, emergency medical and hospitals, but this is changing. Assistants now find employment in private and public hospitals, as well as inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Formal education paramedic usually occurs in vocational schools, technical institutes, colleges, colleges own, online educational program or college. Presented a program should be accredited, if its graduates plan to become either certified or registered. In 2005 there were 500 medical assisting programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) [2], and about 170 accredited by Accreditation Bureau of Health Education (ABHES). Accreditation by CAAHEP, ABHES, NACB, or other accreditation associations never requires that the curricula of schools to provide sufficient classrooms, lectures, and laboratory time.
