Art is a process or product of deliberately organizing elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It covers a wide range of human activities, creativity, and ways of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture and paintings. The meaning of art is considered a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics.

Identification and evaluation of art has become especially problematic since the early 20 th century.
