Environmental Science

Environmental science is an expression covering a wide range of scientific disciplines that need to be brought together to understand and manage the Earth systems and a lot of interactions between physical, chemical and biological components. Environmental Science provides a comprehensive, quantitative and interdisciplinary approach to the study of ecological systems. Individuals can act as environmental scientists or a group of scientists can work together to combine their individual skills. The most common model for the provision of environmental science through the activities of the individual scientist or a small team drawing on the peer-reviewed, published work of many other scientists around the world.
