Library Science

Library (or library and information science) is an interdisciplinary field that applies the practice, prospects and management tools, information technology, education and other areas in the library, collection, organization, storage and dissemination of information, resources and the political economy of information. Historical Library of Science has also included archival science. This includes how information resources are organized to meet the needs of specific user groups, how people interact with the classification systems and technologies, such as the information, analysis and use of people inside and outside the library, as well as cross-culturally, as people are trained and educated to work in libraries, the ethics that guide library service and organization, legal status of libraries and information resources, as well as applied science of computer technology used in documentation and paperwork.
