Precise fornsic matches in forensic techniques such as DNA analysis, development of latent print or microscopic comparisons, are the exception rather than they are the rule. These results can certainly strengthen the case, but should not count in each case. Good forensic processing of crime scene begins with two simple steps:
1. Making relevant observations
2. Proper documentation of these observations

Crime scene interpretation, reconstruction of the crime scene and ultimately the expert's opinion, should always be left to qualified professionals. In any case, it would be impossible for a forensic expert to give such an opinion, if the offense is not properly documented.
