Certifications to boost your career
You’d like to have a well-paying job but engaging in a full-time degree is not an option you are ready to consider. Certification and associate degrees are your answer. Not only are they time-and-cost effective, they will take you back to school but it will feel more like a visit compared to a full-time degree. What courses to take and what career options will they offer you? Consider the following successful options:
Public and private security
If you had criminal justice as your majors in your undergraduate degree, and you are not through with it yet, you can still avail the existing options. Many agencies will recruit you on the basis of an associate’s degree, which should take up to two years, and require you to attend their respective academy for training. Jobs in federal have higher competition and higher pay-scale to complement it as well. But openings in detective agencies and police department also compensate well.
Air Traffic Controllers
Some qualities are highly-valued in certain professions and being able to manage and stay calm under stress is one of them. If you can keep your cool under pressure, you should definitely think about air traffic controlling. It doesn’t require a degree but you need to undertake FAA’s special course series to qualify. Also, it goes without saying, it pays very well.
Web developers
If you are in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or have done some specialized courses online, you can consider a career in web development. Your main responsibility is to mastermind the code that makes a website deliver the bottom line. So if you can work with precision to design the look of a web along with deriving the success code, this can be your calling.
Dental hygienists
It is one of the most popular and fast-growing sectors with highly competent pay-scale. It doesn’t need a degree fundamentally and a technical training course can easily replace it. The figures show an upward trend and appear very optimistic.
Fashion Designer
Creativity has no price tag, or at least not a cheap one. If you already have a job, you can get a degree online and it will be very valuable if you have right aesthetics to go with it. It is one job that will never be out of demand and will always be worth your time and effort, monetarily that is.
